Please pray...

If you are reading or will read this soon, please pray. Beth has suddenly felt light-headed similarly to last night. However, this time she didn't do anything. Needless to say we are a little fearful. We have called the doctor and are awaiting a response. This is a new thing that we haven't wrestled with before. Thank you for praying.

Praying for you guys right now. I'm praying that the docs will figure out what up now and will also find anything they need to find while you guys are in the hospital.

Dearest of friends... it was so good to hear both your voices this weekend! We continue to pray for you diligently and so wish we could be there with you right now. Praying today for God's peace to envelop your lives... He is so much bigger than all of this. May you find peace in knowing that He knows exactly what's going on. I am praying that the doctors can find answers for you! I love you and miss you so much!

My sentiments are the same as everyone elses. I love you and miss talking to you and pray that whatever is up with your body, the doctors can diagnose while you're in the hospital. Get better soon, we have the problems of the world to solve! --maretta

Hi Beth and Dale-

We too are praying moment by moment for you-

Here is a quote from Elisabeth Eliot in A Path through Suffering - it is an Orthodox Prayer: "Teach me to treat all that comes to me with peace of soul and with firm conviction that your will governs all. In unforeseen events let me not forget that all are sent by you."

You are dear to Him - and he is lovingly in control--

Dale, thank you for pointing me to the blog to catch up on the news. Beth, I am so sorry you are enduring this pain and the scariness of not knowing exactly what's wrong and exactly how to fix it. May the Lord lift you up in His Hands and calm your hearts with His peace. May the Good Physician watch over both of you tonight and give you rest.

Beth & Dale,

Hi Beth:

I am praying for your speedy recovery, your release from the pain, discomfort and anxiety you have been going through. I pray that your doctors are led to run the right tests that will show them what is going on and that they be given the wisdom to interpret the results accurately and will know what to do with the information to bring you healing and relief. I pray that your nurses are loving and compassionate and more than all that, I pray that whatever the Lord's purpose is in allowing you to go through this difficult time, that His purpose be fullfilled and that this experience help mold and shape you into whatever direction He has in mind.

Dale: You too have also been in my prayers. Although Beth has been struggling with physical pain, much discomfort and anxiety, I suspect you have the greater pain. It is sometimes even harder to watch one you love struggle and not be able to "fix" whatever is wrong. I can tell from reading your blog that you have been a great comfort to Beth and more help to her than you will probably ever know. I have been praying that the Lord give you the strength for the role He has given you and that you find the Blessings that He has for you along the way and at the end of this particular road and that in the midst of this that you and Beth grow closer to Him and to each other.

Dear Dale and Beth,

I'm sorry you are having to go through such a difficult time. I have been checking the blog 2-3 times each day and praying for you regularly.

It must be really rough having so many ups and downs and answers followed by more questions.

I pray for the Lord to bring healing, clarity, and the nearness of His love.

In Christ,

Mark
